Leadership Training

We are looking forward to finally gathering together to worship, to work, and to share all that’s been going on in our lives and in our churches; however, after studying COVID statistics from our various LWG sites, and consulting with the Bishop, Canons, and our trainers, we have decided to reschedule the February weekends and move our first meeting to the same March dates we previously posted. Although COVID numbers are beginning to decline, we would feel more comfortable – and believe we’ll have more participation – if we delay our start. We plan to keep the scheduled dates for March and May, add a weekend in August for the western side of the diocese, and add a weekend in October to replace our February weekend. We are also extending the deadline to March 4, 2022. As soon as we pick a date and finalize locations, we will publish that information here and send emails to the participants.

As part of the Clergy and Lay Leadership Development initiative, the Diocese sponsors several programs: Church Development Institute, Conflict Management, and Emotional Intelligence workshop.
