Conflict Management Workshop

Knowing that conflict is inevitable, and can be healthy and productive, this workshop gives a grounding in “use of self” in conflict. The goal is to increase your awareness of what is happening to you in a conflict, help you to identify your blind spots, and to increase the range of options you have for effective behavior. Opportunities for self assessment and feedback from other participants and trainers increase the utility of the training. You will learn how to identify low level conflict (which can be positive) and conflict management skills, methods and theory to help prevent conflict from escalating to levels that can damage the congregation.

Participation in Emotional Intelligence is a pre-requisite to attend Conflict Management. Please note that space in this workshop is limited. For more information please contact The Rev. Walter Hobgood at wphobg@gmail.com.
